Overlay Mode

Use GEOAudit as a sidebar overlay directly on any webpage.

Enabling Overlay Mode

In the Chrome extension, click the display mode toggle and select 'Overlay' or 'Both'. The overlay appears as a sidebar on the right side of the current page, showing scan results without leaving the page.

Using the Sidebar

The overlay sidebar shows the same information as the popup: overall score, category breakdown, and check details. Scroll within the sidebar to review all results while seeing the actual page content alongside.

Switching Between Modes

Toggle between Popup, Overlay, and Both modes at any time using the mode selector in the extension header. Your preference is saved and persists across browser sessions.

Export from Overlay

All export options (HTML, JSON, CSV) are available from the overlay mode. Click the export button in the overlay header to download results.
